The 2011 Mid-South Farm & Gin Show is going on today and tomorrow in Memphis, Tennessee as growers from across the mid-south and southeast are in attendance. There are of course a variety of equipment and product displays along with various seminars. And it was a standing room only crowd this morning to hear one of this year’s speakers.
CEO of Allenberg Cotton Company of Memphis Tennessee, Joe Nicosia, last year told growers to expect 2010 to be a start of an upward trend for cotton prices, which we all know did happen. This morning he told growers to take advantage of today’s prices as I talked with him about that afterwards.
