HLB could make things look bleak for the Florida citrus industry short term, but there will likely be long-term solutions. So University of Florida professor emeritus Pete Timmer, a plant pathologist, told a recent citrus economics conference. In this report, he also outlines the program that he thinks can succeed against HLB.
