Recent Recalls Not a Motivating Factor in Food Safety Legislation

Eventhough the latest recall does not affect the produce industry directly, it has many wondering if this large recall could be the motivating factor the Senate needs in passing food safety legislation. However, American Farm Bureau Federation Food Safety Policy Specialist, Kelli Ludlum, doesn’t think so.
