Soon after yours truly exited the FFBF Communications Division Director job in 1984, Rod Hemphill was recruited from Florida Radio Network to work in FFB communications. He later became the division director, a job Hemphill held until his official retirement party at FFB headquarters Friday afternoon in Gainesville. A good crowd of well wishers were on hand, and in our interview Hemphill discusses some challenges of the job and his outlook for FFB communications looking forward.
