While the Agriculture Commissioner’s race in Florida is not the headliner, the office remains one of the most important in state government and is critical to the state’s agriculture industry. It has oversight responsibilities that touch every Floridian directly in some way. Southeast AgNet caught up with Adam Putnam recently on the campaign trail, not a hard thing to do these days as he tirelessly criss-crosses the state in both farm and city circles in his bid for the office.
