Florida fresh fruit shippers still await protocols allowing them to send canker-blemished citrus to Japan. Indian River Citrus League Executive Vice President Doug Bournique believes the Japanese, who have agreed in principal to receive canker-blemished fruit from Florida, will have protocols in place by next season.
