Both the House and Senate have introduced legislation to provide emergency disaster assistance in the south due to mounting financial losses from the devastating weather conditions during this fall harvest. And Robbie Minnich, senior government relations representative for the National Cotton Council, says this form of action will help deliver financial assistance in a timely manner.
