Florida Farm Bureau’s convention in Daytona Beach this week drew a
strong delegation of farmers and ranchers from nearly every county in Florida. It also attracted a number of political candidates from multiple statewide races. In this first report, FFB President John Hoblick discusses the situation with EPA and possible new water regulations that have Florida agriculturists very concerned. In the second report, Hoblick talks of the importance of volunteer leaders in getting the farm message across in these tough political times.
