Vero Beach, FL (September 17, 2009) – The 79th Annual Meeting of the Indian River Citrus League will be held at the Quail Valley River Club, 2345 Highway A1A, Vero Beach on October 5, 2009 at 10:30 a.m., and will feature numerous guest speakers to explain to the League’s grower membership the aerial spray program for psyllid control for the upcoming 2009-2010 citrus season.
“We are fortunate to have these individuals in one room to address the issues that now face our growers,” said Doug Bournique, executive vice president of the Indian River Citrus League. All growers are urged to attend to hear the details of this important aerial spray program.

The Indian River Citrus League, founded in 1931, is the organization representing 800 grower members and 22 affiliated packinghouses in the Indian River Citrus District.
