We are getting closer to seeing the Florida budget being written in the legislature as last week 
both houses gave allocations to their budget chairs on how much they could spend and still keep the budget balanced according to Sam Ard, Director of Governmental Affairs for the Florida Cattlemen’s Association.
Florida District 20 Senator Carey Baker said they put together their Senate budget, and through the budget he is presenting, was able to include some areas of interest to cattle producers across the state.
