Tomatoes Safe to Eat Again

It’s safe to go back to the salad bar again. The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and the U.S. Food and Drug Administration announced Thursday that they are lifting consumer warnings for tomatoes available in the U.S. market, regardless of their origin. They are continuing to focus on jalapeno and serrano peppers in their investigation of the Salmonella Saintpaul outbreak.
