Florida Department of Citrus is among the supporters of the The Citrus Hall of Fame of Florida’s Citrus Celebration luncheon coming up March 7 at Florida Southern College in Lakeland. Meanwhile, the Florida Citrus Festival is reportedly shutting down, and depending on what happens in that situation maybe the confusion between the two Hall of Fames can be quieted once and for all. By the way, the event next Friday is the one involving many citrus industry leaders and growers who have traditionally handled Citrus Hall of Fame activities in the state.
