The number of volunteers participating in Florida Ag Literacy Day last month was up 15 percent over last year, according to Florida Agriculture in the Classroom which organizes the event.
Florida Agriculture in the Classroom has named Cara Martin of Florida Farm Bureau as its new chairman.
Four teachers have received Florida Agriculture in the Classroom’s Excellence in Teaching about Agriculture Award for 2007.
