Prospective Plantings Likely to Change

Only one thing is for sure about the USDA-NASS Prospective Plantings report out last Friday – what is actually planted this year will be different.

USDA officials say the final acreage is never the same as the planting intentions this time of year for a number of reasons, mainly the weather.
