The National FFA Organization is holding an Earth Day Service Challenge to encourage local FFA chapters to engage community volunteers to carry out reforestation and conservation projects during the month of April.
The chapter with the most volunteer involvement will win a $3,000 Best Civic Engagement grant, while the chapter demonstrating the most powerful impact to their community will receive a $7,000 Best Impact grant. More information on the Earth Day challenge can be found on line at www.ffa.org.
