Ft. Pierce USDA Horticulture Lab Director Dr. Calvin Arnold called a rare media tele-conference late Friday afternoon, along with some key members of his citrus research team, to get the word out about new information just learned from citrus growers in Vietnam that may be helpful to Florida growers in dealing with citrus ‘greening’. In this report you’ll hear Arnold’s comments opening up the press conference, and some overview information about the new research direction.
