AL Livestock Market Report:

At Alabama Livestock Auctions receipts at 21 markets totaled an estimated 12,600 head compared to 11,160 last week and 12,273 year ago. Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows and bulls sold steady to mostly 4.00 higher. All feeder classes sold uneven, mostly steady. Trade active with good demand on feeders.

At Florida Livestock Auctions receipts at 10 markets 6,648 last week 5,296, last year 5,599. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls mostly 2.00 to 4.00 higher.  Feeder classes mostly steady.  Replacement cows steady. Year to date receipts totaled 124,346 compared to 141,401 a year ago.
