The Beef Checkoff Enhancement Working Group has been working together for the past couple of years to try and find ways to make the current beef checkoff program more effective and more efficient. In a teleconference this afternoon Forrest Roberts, CEO of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association, talked about a meeting they had this past week with Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack.
