At a recent Citrus Research Field Day originating in Lake Alfred, University of Florida scientist Jude Grosser told growers about the many attributes he and other researchers are seeking in new rootstocks. Suitability for use in new Advanced Citrus Production Systems and the ability to survive and produce fruit in the face of HLB and other diseases are among the qualities sought.
