CITRUS CROP FORECAST “LIVE” STATEWIDE BROADCAST/WEBCAST
(Southeast AgNet, Ocala, FL, Oct 5, 2011) The annual Citrus Crop Forecast from U. S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agriculture Statistics Service (USDA/NASS) will be broadcast “live” on Southeast AgNet Radio Network for the 16th consecutive year at 8:29 a.m. Wednesday, October 12, 2011. Citrus Statistics Administrator Candi Erick will join the broadcast to release the crop estimate numbers directly from USDA’s Agricultural Statistics Board in Washington D. C.

Southeast AgNet is again the exclusive radio network source for this “live” coverage. An audio stream will also be available at the network’s website at www.southeastagnet.com. The website audio stream will begin at approximately 8:05 a.m. on October 12, featuring citrus industry and market discussion and broadcast countdown announcements, and the radio network broadcast will go ‘live’ at 8:29 a. m.

Southeast AgNet’s Gary Cooper will again anchor the broadcast from a special Peace River Valley Citrus Growers’ breakfast in Arcadia. Labor Solutions (www.LaborSolutions.com) is sponsoring the “live” network coverage and website audio stream for this special annual broadcast.
