At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended- December 13, 2024, receipts at 16 markets totaled 11,727 head compared to 16,290 last week and 10,014 last year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold steady to 3.00 higher, slaughter bulls sold 4.00 to 6.00 lower. Feeder cattle sold 1.00 to 5.00 higher. Trade active with good to very good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 523,303 compared to 612,305 last year.
