The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has been busy working with agricultural producers and landowners affected by the recent hurricanes.

USDA Undersecretary Robert Bonnie has been across the Southeast and is spending time touring some of the areas of Florida yesterday and today that were affected by Hurricane Milton. He talked to Southeast AgNet’s Randall Weiseman about the damage he has seen and how USDA is there to provide assistance.

Earlier this month, Undersecretary Bonnie talked with Southeast AgNet’s Sabrina Halvorson about the support and aid available from the USDA for agricultural communities affected by Hurricane Helene. He emphasized the USDA’s commitment to assisting farmers through streamlined procedures. To hear more of this interview click here
