The Alabama Cattlemen’s Foundation is hosting a relief effort benefitting cattle producers in Florida, Georgia and North Carolina affected by the recent hurricanes. In coordination with each state Cattlemen’s Association, the effort focuses on collecting fencing materials and monetary donations.

Alabama Cattlemen’s Association (ACA) Executive Vice President, Erin Beasley, says they are working to help their neighbors.

Donations being accepted include solar chargers, T-posts, barbed wire, fencing staples, poly wire, poly reels and insulators. These will be the only materials accepted at drop points. The four drop points for donations of physical fencing materials are:

9494 Experimental Loop Madison, AL 35756

Items collected at the TVREC will be trucked directly to a staging center coordinated with the North Carolina Cattlemen’s Association. Specific needs are solar chargers, poly wire, T-posts, poly reels and insulators.
