AL Livestock Market Report:
At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended September 13, 2024, receipts at 16 markets totaled 15,175 head compared to 14,359 last week and 17,869 last year.  Compared to one week ago: Slaughter cows sold 3.00 to 7.00 lower, slaughter bulls sold steady to 4.00 higher. All feeder classes sold 2.00 to 10.00 lower. Trade moderate to active with moderate to good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cattle sold steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 375,662 compared to 442,438 last year.
