At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended July 26, 2024, receipts at 16 markets totaled 11,571 head compared to 11,571 last week and 12,814 last year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows and bulls 2.00 to 5.00 lower. Feeder classes unevenly steady to 4.00 lower. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cows mostly steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 284,345 compared to 337,875 last year.
