At Alabama Livestock Auctions, for the week ended June 14, 2024, receipts at 16 markets totaled 9,567 head compared to 10,699 last week and 15,584 last year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold 1.00 to 3.00 lower, slaughter bulls sold steady to 2.00 higher. Feeder steers sold steady to 4.00 higher, feeder heifers and feeder bulls sold 1.00 to 6.00 lower. Trade active with moderate to good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cows sold steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 227,020 compared to 271,624 last year.
