At Alabama Livestock Auctions receipts at 17 markets totaled an estimated 8,660 head compared to 9,472 last week and 12,697 last year. Compared to last week: Slaughter cows sold mostly steady to 2.00 lower, slaughter bulls sold 1.00 to 3.00 higher. All feeder classes sold 2.00 to 8.00 lower. Trade active with good demand on feeder cattle. Replacement cows sold steady. Year-to-date receipts totaled 132,799 compared to 150,833 last year.
