The 2023 Citrus & Specialty Crop Expo kicks off this Wednesday, August 16th at the Florida State Fairgrounds in Tampa.
Many in the industry are excited about the new location for the Expo, including the University of Florida Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (UF/IFAS). Their citrus extension booth will be in a new location near the dining areas on the trade show floor. It will include a new design with the latest information available for attendees. Plus, the new 2023–2024 Florida Citrus Production Guide and the updated one-page quick guides will be available.
The two-day event will kick off with the General Session at 9:00 a.m. Wednesday, where Florida Commissioner of Agriculture Wilton Simpson will be the guest speaker. The session will be followed by an opportunity for citrus and vegetable/specialty crop growers to hear talks more specific to them in concurrent sessions.
