The Georgia Cattlemen’s Association (GCA) is urging producers in the state to get registered for their Cattlemen’s Connection quarterly Meeting. It will be held August 18th in Tifton. The meeting will include a focus on forage, with a tour of the better grazing paddocks and an insight on the forage research being conducted at the University of Georgia Tifton Campus.
The meeting will begin at the Tift County Extension office for an education session, along with lunch and a GCA and Georgia Beef Board update. Cost for the event is only $15 per person and registration is available on the GCA website or by calling their office at 478-474-6560.
Then mark this date on your calendar for another upcoming Cattlemen’s Connection meeting, November 3, 2023 in Athens.
And then the annual GCA Convention will take place March 12-15, 2024 in Columbus.
