The Georgia Cattlemen’s Association (GCA) is kicking off a Cattlemen’s Connection Quarterly Meeting Series this summer. The meetings are designed to offer members an opportunity to attend educational seminars that are affordable and worthwhile. The events will focus on GCA’s four main focus areas: Producer Education, Market Development, Community Engagement, and Legislative Representation.
The first meeting is scheduled for July 22, in Bartow County, Georgia. This event will offer attendees the opportunity to tour a large scale cattle ranch, participate in educational seminars, and receive updates from both GCA and the Georgia Beef Board. Those in attendance will visit Gaines Cattle, a third-generation stocker operation in Taylorsville, Georgia to learn more about the work they are doing on their ranch.
Registration is only $10 per person for all current and prospective members. This includes lunch and participation in all scheduled activities. Registration for the event ends July 15, 2022.
Other Quarterly Meeting dates are September 22, 2022 in Moultrie, GA, November 18, 2022, which will be a virtual meeting, and March 8-10, 2023 in Columbus, GA for the GCA Annual Convention.
