This is according to a couple of top dairy economists.
2021 was a record year for U.S. dairy exports, and William Loux, vice president of global economic affairs for the U.S. Dairy Export Council, looks at what we could expect yet this year.

Loux also noted that New Zealand and the European Union, the main U.S. competitors on global dairy markets, aren’t as focused on sustainably feeding the world as the U.S.
Stephen Cain, director of economic research and analysis at NMPF, details some of the current trade challenges U.S. producers face.
Cain also said while the U.S. is still having issues getting product out of the West Coast ports, a growing issue taking place over the last six weeks has been the buildup and the backlog into Chinese ports. This is due to the number of people being locked down due to Covid.
