
For 99 years, Stoneville cotton seed has delivered for farmers across the Southeast. And next year will be a big celebration. BASF and Stoneville Cotton Seed Retail Agronomist, Mark Freeman, says they will celebrate their 100th Anniversary.
And recently, Freeman told us that despite the various weather delays we’ve seen this year with cotton harvest, they are getting strong reports about a couple of varieties. Stoneville cotton varieties 4990 and 5091 have done very well here in the Southeast. And he explains what growers can do to learn more about these and other new varieties coming out.
