As the remnants of Tropical Storm Nicholas continues moving to the East, there are concerns with some of the top crops across the South. USDA meteorologist Brad Rippey says that includes open boll cotton, rice and sugar cane.
The storm continues to will significant moisture from the Gulf of Mexico, as rainfall totals of 5 to 10 inches, and in some areas up to 20 inches are likely through early Friday from Louisiana to the Florida Panhandle.
