Due to COVID-19, the 2021 Georgia Citrus Association (GCA) Conference will not be held in person. Instead, the GCA is launching a new website and membership platform. This state-of-the-art tool will allow members to view presentations by experts at any time.
Topics include weed management, citrus diseases and disorders, testing for diseases, precision agriculture, crop insurance, cold protection and the University of Georgia rootstock trial in Lowndes County.
The presentations are sponsored by Maxx Manufacturing, Ag-Pro, Maxi Jet, Syngenta, SQM, Farm Credit and Hudson Crop Insurance.
While members can join or renew their membership at any time, the GCA annual meeting will be held online on Feb. 22. Members with an active membership (2021 dues paid), can sign in and vote on association matters on that day only. In addition to the presentations, the website will be sponsored by industry leaders. Website and contact information for each sponsor will be available.
