President Trump previously announced he would sign the phase one trade deal with China on Jan. 15. In a tweet, Trump noted that the ceremony would take place at the White House, and high-level representatives of China would be present. During the recent Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference in Savannah, Georgia, Under Secretary of Agriculture for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Ted McKinney told Southeast AgNet’s Clint Thompson that this is a very big deal.
McKinney also talked with Thompson about other trade deals, including the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement.
