The annual Southeast Regional Fruit and Vegetable Conference (SERFVC) continues today in Savannah, Georgia. Ag Net Media’s newest team member, Clint Thompson, is at the conference and was able to catch up with Dr. Jayesh Samtani, an assistant professor and small fruit extension specialist with Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. They discuss new strawberry cultivars and look at which varieties are best suited for the southeast.
