The Georgia Cattlemen’s Association (GCA) will hold its 9th Annual Summer Conference July 25-27 at the Ridges Resort in Hiawassee. GCA President Brent Galloway invites producers from across the state to attend.
The event kicks off Thursday evening, July 25 with a reception, grill out and family fun.
On Friday, July 26, business begins with committee meetings that are open to all members. Then, during the opening session, David Pugh, director of the Alabama State Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory System, will be on hand to discuss internal and external parasite control and resistance. That afternoon, there’s free time to enjoy various activities, with a seafood experience taking place that evening.
Saturday morning, July 27, starts off with committee meetings, followed by the closing General Session. At that event, National Cattlemen’s Beef Association President Jennifer Houston will speak, and GCA will hold its mid-year general policy board meeting.
