Perdue in Southeast to Discuss Disaster Aid

U.S. Secretary of Agriculture Sonny Perdue spent time in both Florida and Georgia on June 7 to participate in round-table discussions concerning the U.S.-Mexico-Canada Agreement and disaster aid. Congress finally passed a disaster-relief bill, and the President signed it Thursday. However, some feel since it has been eight months since Hurricane Michael hit parts of the Southeast, the U.S. Department of Agriculture is starting from scratch. But Perdue says that’s not necessarily so.
