The National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) will be holding their annual Legislative Conference this week in Washington D.C. The three-day program is dedicated to raising awareness about the public policy issues facing the beef industry and connecting cattlemen and women with their policy makers. When NCBA released their official policy priorities for 2019, “Fake Meat” was listed as one of the top four, and will be one discussed this week. And according to NCBA Senior Vice President of Government Affairs, Colin Woodall, this is an issue that’s not going away anytime soon.
