The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS) is wrapping up data collection for the 2017 Census of Agriculture. In order to stay on track for the release of this data in February 2019, it has set Friday, June 15 as the deadline to submit the paper questionnaire. NASS is hoping farmers and ranchers across the Southeast who have yet to do this will take a few minutes this week and complete the questionnaire and send it back. NASS Southern Region Director Jim Ewing explains why it is important for producers to return their completed forms.
