Clean 15 Fruits and Veggies of 2018
The Environmental Working Group, or EWG, identifies fruits and vegetables that have the highest and lowest pesticide residues. The group’s so-called Clean 15 list is the number of fruits and veggies least likely to be contaminated. So this means you can feel a whole lot better about not buying organic, which will save you quite a bit of money in the long run.
The Clean 15 list of 2018 includes:
1. Avocados
2. Sweet Corn
3. Pineapples
4. Cabbages
5. Onions
6. Frozen Sweet Peas
7. Papayas
8. Asparagus
9. Mangoes
10. Eggplants
11. Honeydew Melons
12. Kiwis
13. Cantaloupes
14. Cauliflower
15. Broccoli
The Environmental Working Group also released a list it called the dirty dozen, 12 fruits and veggies it suggests buying organic because of the presence of pesticide residue.
