Today kicks off the final week of the 2018 Florida Legislative Session, which is scheduled to end this 
Friday, March 9. But the budget has to be finalized by tomorrow, March 6 for the session to end as scheduled. That is because a legally required 72-hour “cooling off” period must take place after the budget is finalized before a final vote can be taken.
