Everett Griner talks about the current generation eating healthier, and why, in today’s Agri View.
Eating Healthier
Now you may not think that age has anything to do with the way that people eat. Well, it does. Of course you have to break it down by age groups. It may be better to say by generations. You know, traditionally, baby boomers, generation X, millennials.
The later changes have been with the later generation. The millennials. You see, they eat less at home. And even when they do eat at home it is more prepared foods. In other words, they cook less. Definitely less meat. One of the major reasons for the difference is, generally speaking, they make more money. And when they spend it for prepared foods, it is a healthier food. Everything considered, millennials are healthier than the previous generation. They don’t just live on pasta.
That’s Agri View for today. I’m Everett Griner…
