Efforts have been underway for quite some time to help cotton producers deal with the ongoing 
financial stress. And those efforts have finally paid off, as Congress did pass a supplemental disaster bill that includes policy restoring eligibility for cotton in the Title I Agriculture Risk Coverage and Price Loss Coverage programs of the farm bill. Georgia Cotton Commission Executive Director Richey Seaton says this includes a new cottonseed program.
