Cattle producers across the Southeast are encouraged to make plans to attend the 2017 Alabama Forage Conference. It will be held November 29 at Lakepoint State Park in Eufaula, Alabama.
Dr. Kim Mullenix, Alabama extension animal scientist said, “Attendees will have the opportunity to see current forage research as well as demonstration projects. They also will learn ways to improve soil and plant health to sustain year-round grazing systems.”
In addition to the conference, there will be a pre-conference tour of the Wiregrass Research and Extension Center in Headland, Alabama on November 28.
Registration will be open until November 14. Cost for both the pre-conference tour and the forage conference is $65 per person, but just to attend just the forage conference it is $50 per person.
