Dr. Ricardo Chebel, UF College of Veterinary Medicine Dairy Health Extension Specialist, will be presenting classroom information and hands-on practice on dairy calving management. He will be covering risk factors for dystocia, the process of normal calving, stages of calving, strategies to correct dystocia. Classroom sessions will be available separately in English and Spanish. Both sessions will combine for lunch and hands-on practice. The English classroom session will begin at 9 am, and the Spanish classroom session will begin at 1:30 pm.  Lunch and hands-on practice for both sessions start at 11 am.  Registration will be $15 per person.  There will be a maximum of 20 students allowed for each workshop on a first come, first serve basis. Pre-registration is encouraged.
