The University of Florida/IFAS has research and education centers at various locations across the state, and one of those is the Suwannee Valley Agricultural Extension Center at Live Oak. This facility serves an area of one of the highest concentration of farms in the state. And according to Dr. Jack Payne, UF senior vice president for agriculture and natural resources, they are concentrating resources at that facility to keep up with growers’ needs.
