While today was the original deadline for citrus growers to take the bactericide survey, it has been announced by the Citrus Research and Development Foundation that the deadline has been extended until next Wednesday, August 10. Here is the note from Harold W. Browning, CRDF Chief Operating Officer:
As the Citrus Expo date approaches, we are asking for your help in getting one more surge of responses to the bactericide use survey that CRDF and Southeast Agnet have developed to capture how growers have planned to use and are using the materials this season. To date we have a strong response, and are hoping to get an even better representation of growers from all regions, all varieties, and who are taking a wide range of approaches to the use of bactericides this season. In addition, to providing direct information back to growers on the state-wide use of these tools for HLB management, this information will assist as we move forward to seek continued use of the products for next season.
The survey can be found on the Citrus Expo page citrusexpo.net. Please encourage your grower members and colleagues to complete this survey if they have not already and to be sure to register for Citrus Expo to hear the results. The date for submission of the survey has been extended to Wednesday, August 10 to conform with the end of pre-registration for Expo.
We hope to see you at Expo so you can hear more about the results of the survey and other updates on the use of bactericides.
Best Regards,
Harold
