Although there will be no USDA citrus crop forecast Friday because of the federal government shutdown, a Polk County OJ Break remains on the citrus calendar for Thursday. The OJ Break will begin at 10 a.m. Thursday at the Stuart Conference Center in Bartow and will feature talks on new citrus plant material, HLB escape trees and fruit drop.
