Hispanic and women farmers and ranchers who believe they have been discriminated against by the USDA in past decades have another opportunity to find out more about the claims process. Florida NRCS State Conservationist Carlos Suarez says there are still some outreach meetings scheduled designed to explain what is involved in the filing process.
